Properties: | ER,is a fluorescent whitening agent,also called whitening agent for polyester,isone of the bisdiphenylethylene compounds and similar to Blankophor ER made inBayer A.G., Germany. ER has an appearance of yellowish green powder crystal witha purity equal to or higher than 99% and a melting point of 229 to 231°C.It isnon-toxic,odorless,non-ionic and soluble in most of organic solvents.ProductWhitened by ER has a natural pure white appearance.Being stable in chemicalproperties and characterized by strong high-temperature resistance andphotostability,ER is one of the most ideal whitening agents generally acceptedinternationally for polyester fiber. | ||||||||||||
Applications: | Fluorescent Whitening Agent ER in the form of refined powder is very suitablefor whitening and brightening polyester fiber and has good whitening effect onplastics such as PE,PP and PVC and their process of shaping with polyester chipsor recovered polyester chiaps.In addition,the refined powder is widely used incoating industry. | ||||||||||||
Directions for use and dosage: | Put Fluorescent Whitening Agent ER in the form of refined powder,the polyesterchips and other auxiliaries together into the mixer.The dosage of 0.02-0.08% onweight of polyester is recommended and should be determined according to therequirement for the whiteness of the finished products.Mix the mixturethoroughly at 50-150°C and then keep it at 240-300°C for drawing-spinning. | ||||||||||||
